For those of you who can't wait until the main Festival in October, the Stratford Music Festival
presents Midsummer Music, a mini-festival weekend in mid-July which will see three
wonderful concerts in Stratford's Town Hall and Shakespeare Institute. The star attraction will
be the ever-popular, world-renowned clarinettist, Emma Johnson who will perform a varied
programme on the Saturday evening. The young pianist and multi-award winner, Mitra Tham
will be playing Bach, Mozart and Beethoven at the Town Hall on the Saturday lunchtime and
the Doric Quartet, one of Britain's most outstanding string quartets gives a concert on the
Sunday afternoon in the Shakespeare Institute with tea and cakes in the garden afterwards!
